Ndeze & Ndakasi are the only two baby, orphan Mount Gorillas in captivity in the world. Their mothers were murdered in a politically motivated attack in Virunga National Park, DRC. The park authorities looked after them as best they could in the dusty and dangerous city of Goma until they had built this wonderful gorilla orphanage in the forest, near the park headquarters.
